Bricks and Flakes

Something about this combination of dark and light is very special. The consistency of the bricks and the inconsistency of their values, the snowflakes falling in front, it all creates a coherent and calm feeling for me. The stillness of the wall and the constant change in motion and structure of the snowflakes when you sit and observe is amazing, but in a picture it feels like you can freeze time and see for a frame how the snow looks in front of the wall, both of them being still.
